The CD cover for 'A Book for Kids' uses artwork by C.J.Dennis himself. CD 1 shows a stockman skidding to a halt on his disgruntled horse, watched by a magpie on the fence, while CDs 2 and 3 show a baker and a band. All refer to poems in the collection. Here's Mike Jackson singing and myself as a clarinet quartet. It's from my musical version of C.J.Dennis' A Book for Kids: featuring Pat Drummond and Christine Hutchinson, plus the kids of O'Connor Co-op School in this song, one of the better-known of Dennis' poems. It's part of a series of 'Australian Classics for Little Kids' which I'm working on getting re-released in downloadable form.
